The Finals Season 6 is well underway, and it has been a lot of fun since its arrival. It kickstarted with a bunch of buffs and nerfs, and it also made the beloved TDM permanent after a brief removal. Prior to the new season’s release, Embark promised more consistent big updates. While a new patch is on the way, The Finals developer has confirmed their “stacked update” is “delayed,” but the good news is that it comes with free rewards.

New The Finals update is delayed

Embark has confirmed on Discord that this week’s update for The Finals is a “bit delayed”. Embark don’t know how long the delay will last, but they are hoping to get the patch out as soon as possible.

There’s still the chance the patch comes out on Wednesday, as is traditional of Embark updates, but there’s also the chance it could be pushed to Thursday or perhaps even beyond. Right now there is no ETA for when it will come.

While the delay is obviously not ideal, the good news is that Embark has said it is a “stacked update”. This suggests there will be a lot to the patch notes, possibly including an array of fixes coupled with buffs and nerfs.

In addition, we know there will be free rewards available to get via Twitch Drops. The free rewards appear to be weapon skins judging by the below teaser shared by Embark:
