The Day Before has been one of the most anticipated and puzzling games leading up to its launch. It has been delayed several times, but users on PC finally get to see what the game is actually all about. The release date and time countdown for The Day Before early access on PC is right around the corner, and soon Steam users will be able to explore the post-apocalyptic open-world.
It is not possible to pre-order The Day Before ahead of launch. It is only coming out in early access format, so be aware that it is not the complete product. As for what the game is, it’s an open-world MMO where you have to survive battling against zombies as well as other players scavenging for resources. It takes place in the United States, and you will see iconic landmarks such as Times Square.
There have been several delays, but in just a couple of days, it will finally be available to play on PC.
The Day Before release date
The Day Before release date is December 7th. This is when early access starts on PC for Steam. As for when it will leave early access, the Steam overview says it plans to stay in the format for about six to eight months.
It is planned to come out on PS5 and Xbox consoles, but console versions have been delayed with no estimated date provided. This is really unfortunate as many fans were looking forward to cross-platform multiplayer. Still, it will come to consoles one day, and all we can do is simply wait and look forward to its release.

The release time for when the Day Before early access will come out is 10 AM PT/ 1 PM ET/ 6 PM GMT on December 7th. This is confirmed by a launch map countdown shared on the official playdaybefore Twitter account.
It’s a simultaneous global launch, meaning everyone will gain access at the same time. In regard to price, the developer has confirmed that the early access entry fee is $39 with the full game priced at $49. If you buy early access, you will not have to pay again for the full product.
