The Automaton forces are about to see a huge boost in troop variety as new Helldivers 2 leaks reveal terrifying new bots deploying in Arrowhead’s shooter. Leaked alongside brand-new Illuminate missions coming to the game, the scary new bots are set to devastate players in an upcoming update.

As players build up their best stratagems and unlock new weapons with the new Truth Enforcers Warbond, the Automaton forces are also buffing up. After the arrival of the Jet Brigade, new bots are closely approaching.

New Automaton foes coming to Helldivers 2

Leaked by Helldivers 2 dataminer IronS1ghts, two new Automaton enemies are coming to royally mess up your sample runs. While no release date for the new enemies has been confirmed, the powerful new bots look set to revitilise the cyborgs’ army.

Firstly, the Automaton Assault Strider is a new enemy set to decimate divers. Around half the size of boss Striders, this new foe towers over Hulks and comes equipped with multiple railguns to rain hot plasma on unsuspecting—or even suspecting—soldiers.

Alongside firing railguns and rockets the new Helldivers 2 enemy also has close-range combat options. If a diver gets too close, the new Assault Strider can stomp them into a fine paste. This is going to be one hell of a new foe, but one that will hopefully explode in spectacular fashion.

Get ready for more Jet Packs

After the arrival of a huge buff to player jet packs, the arrival of The Jet Brigade saw bots joining the air to take on soldiers. Shortly after, Jet Hulks started to make their debut on the battlefield, but more bots are set to get the same buff.

The same leaker has discovered files relating to a Jet Berserker that will launch towards players from afar, chainsaws in hands. If the cyborg foe wasn’t terrifying enough as it, it will soon be able to cross huge distances to slice and dice you.
