Bossa Studios has announced that Surgeon Simulator 2: Access All Areas will be available on Xbox Game Pass when it launches on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One next month.

The announcement on the Xbox Wire reveals the console release will include three main game modes. These include the story-based Campaign Mode as written by Rhianna Pratchett, a competitive Party Mode and the sandbox Creation Mode. The last one will allow players to create their own levels with an in-game editor and share them with friends.

You’ll be able to play with up to three additional players, using the new updated character models for Kamal, Heather, Penny or Milo. You’ll also be able to customise your chosen surgeon with a range of cosmetics including fancy dress and dinosaur heads. Finally, the team also promise Easter eggs referencing other Bossa Games titles to keep your eyes open for.

The madcap surgical adventure was first revealed as coming to Xbox Series X|S back in July. The game originally launched as an Epic Games Store exclusive back in August of 2020. Surgeon Simulator 2: Access All Areas will scrub up on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One and via Xbox Game Pass from September 2.
