The Lego Group and Nintendo have revealed their latest Lego Super Mario collaboration, with a Question Mark Block set based on Super Mario 64.

Presented as one of the series’ iconic Question Mark blocks, the set opens up revealing mini-recreations of several classic stages. These include Bob-omb Battlefield, Cool, Cool Mountain, Lethal Lava Trouble and of course, the iconic Peach’s Castle.

The set also includes ten microfigures, with teeny-tiny versions of Mario, Yoshi, Princess Peach, King Bob-omb and more. There’s 2064 pieces in total, and step-by step instructions. The set also interacts with the Lego Super Mario and Lego Luigi figures to collect 10 power stars and reveal secret reactions.

There’s a quote from Pablo Gonzalez Gonzalez, who’s the senior designer of the Lego Group. “With this amazing set, we’re building on the exciting play experience of LEGO Super Mario, both to bring a bit of nostalgia for those who played the Super Mario 64 video game, but also to introduce these wonderful levels to a whole new audience of Super Mario fans.”

You’ll be able to get your hands on the Lego Super Mario 64 Question Block Set this October 1. It’ll first be available exclusively from Lego themselves for £159.99. It’ll then head over to other retailers in 2022. Check out the trailer below.
