Square Enix has announced that upcoming action RPG spin-off Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin will launch on March 18, 2022.

The company announced during its presentation at this year’s Tokyo Game Show. On top of that, we were shown a new trailer introducing a new female ally known as Neon. Stick around to the end of the trailer too for a major hint of how the game ties into the original Final Fantasy.

Alongside the trailer, a new demo of the game has also dropped today on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. An expansion of the original demo released back in June, it’ll be the first time Xbox owners have had chance to get hands-on with the game. You’ll get to explore the Refrin Wetlands, meet Neon and even sample the game’s multiplayer for the first time.

The new demo will be available from now until October 11 at 3:49pm UK time. Those who download it will also be asked to take part in a short survey upon completion. Check out the trailer for yourself, down below.

Strange of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin meanwhile lands on March 18, 2022. It’ll be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
