Bethesda has dropped another Into the Starfield roundtable discussion video for upcoming RPG Starfield.

The video includes Game Director Todd Howard, Design Director Emil Pagliarulo, Lead Quest Designer Will Shen & Lead Artist Istvan Pely. They’ve gathered to talk more about bringing the trademark Bethesda DNA into their latest epic. This time around, they cover topics like improving character models and the game’s factions.

These factions include the United Colonies who represent an idealised version of a space-republic. Then there’s the Freestar Collective, who are more akin to literal Space Cowboys. There’s also the corporate faction in the form of Ryugen Industries, and then there’s the Crimson Fleet. They’ll be the game’s pirate faction, but they won’t just be one dimensional baddies, and players will even have the opportunity to join them, if they choose.

Sadly, there’s not a lot of new gameplay footage in the Into the Starfield video, although we do get a look at some concept art. It is, however, a fairly interesting if brief chat between four of the major heads working on Bethesda’s next big RPG. If you missed the previous episode, you can check that out here.

Hopefully, we’ll get a better look at the game itself this summer. Especially since Starfield is currently scheduled to arrive on Xbox Series X|S and PC on November 11, 2022. It’ll also be available from launch via Xbox Game Pass.
