Star Wars Outlaws comes out very soon. You can get it as soon as possible by opting for early access, or you can wait for the Standard edition to launch slightly later. Unfortunately, there are no final impression as of yet, but a leak has revealed the FPS and graphics modes available for Star Wars Outlaws on console.
The release date for Star Wars Outlaws is August 30th with early access available from August 27th. Ubisoft has shared the Season Pass DLC roadmap for 2024/25, and the game’s full trophy list has been revealed online, too. It’s pretty much the typical Ubisoft open-world experience with a Star Wars skin, so it should be a lot of fun for fans of the galaxy far, far away and Ubisoft model.
The game’s environments look absolutely gorgeous, and Star Wars Outlaws should look beautiful and perform well on PS5 and Xbox.
Star Wars Outlaws FPS and graphics modes
Reviewers have gotten their hands on Star Wars Outlaws so they can deliver final impressions before Ubisoft’s early access launch. According to a leak shared on ResetEra, the available graphics modes for console are as follows:
- Favour Quality (40fps)
- Quality
- Performance
In addition to the above, the ResetEra thread notes that the 40FPS option “Should be higher level of detail, shadowing etc”. There’s also the assumption that “If it’s like Frontiers of Pandora, RT should be turned on in all the performance modes”.
This is fantastic news for console players. Consistent and smooth 60FPS would obviously be lovely, but 40FPS is more than good enough especially with an onus kept on visuals.
If you are planning to play on PC, you will be able to experience Star Wars Outlaws at 60FPS in 4K quality, but you will need a high-end GPU.
