Star Wars Outlaws – release date speculation

Star Wars Outlaws is the latest adventure game set in the world of Star Wars being developed by Ubisoft. We’re slowly getting more details about the game, and we can probably expect a Star Wars Outlaws release date sometime soon.

Set in the iconic galaxy far, far away, this third-person action game is going to take place between the Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi films. Outlaws won’t have a Jedi or Sith as its main playable character, instead, you will play as Kay Vess for the full scoundrel immersion. As Kay, you will navigate the seedy underbelly of several locations in the Star Wars universe as you fight, steal, and outwit your way through the galaxy’s crime syndicates.

Star Wars Outlaws release date speculation

Star Wars Outlaws only has a tentative release date of 2024. This is all Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment have said about the game, and the 2024 date has been taken from the first cinematic trailer for the game. At the time of writing, there has been no confirmed release date.

We can speculate that Star Wars Outlaws will be released in the last quarter of 2024, which is typically when Ubisoft has released its heavy-hitter games such as Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. This is simply speculation, and we can’t do anything but wait until Ubisoft gives us an official release date.

We’ve seen a chunk of gameplay for Star Wars Outlaws in another video shared in June 2023. The 10-minute segment shows gunplay, combat, and other exploration we can expect to do when we play the game.
