Spyro Reignited Trilogy has received a fresh batch of gameplay footage today, this time showcasing the Hurricos Realm from the spruced up version of Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage.

There's over three minutes worth of gameplay to soak up, which sees Spyro having to shut down massive force fields across the level, before battling against Gear Grinders and other foes, which remain faithful to their original designs.

Still, those of you who have played the original PlayStation version will still find a number of extra touches spread across Hurricos, just to keep things fresh.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 21, arriving just in time for the 20th anniversary of the franchise.

The compilation includes full remakes of the first three games in the Spyro franchise on PlayStation: Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.

Oddly enough, Spyro Reignited does not include all three games on disc; you'll have to download Spyro 2 and 3, which seems a bit odd given the space available on Blu-ray.
