In this all-new adventure, everyone’s favourite yellow hero will travel with Patrick across a number of levels as distinctly-themed ‘Wishworlds’ in this universe-hopping adventure.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake release date
SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is currently scheduled to release on January 31, 2023 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. It’ll also be playable on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 via backwards compatibility.
The game is considered a spiritual sequel to 2020’s SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated, as it comes from the same development team of Purple Lamp Studios.
The plot sees SpongeBob and Patrick given a magic vial of Bubble Soap from fortune teller Kassandra that has the power to grant wishes.
However, after one too many wishes, the very fabric of reality unravels, and it’s down to SpongeBob to don a number of costumes, dive into these worlds and set things right.
Some of these worlds they’ll visit include ones themed around cowboys, cavemen and a Halloween themed world. Of course, players will also get to meet plenty of familiar faces from the series, voiced by their original actors.
