The THQ Nordic Digital Showcase has been revealed and the video game event is set to go live on August 11, 2023. This upcoming celebration “will not only include world premiere announcements but also updates and reveals for previously announced games” as well.

Although nothing specific has been provided yet, fans of the developers are hoping for new installments in the Darksiders series and a remake of the popular platformer, Tak and the Power of Juju. Based on the games that THQ Nordic had already announced, however, it seems unlikely that these games are going to get fresh entries any time soon.

Instead, the developers will most likely provide more information on some of the projects that they’ve already announced like the Alone in the Dark remake and Outcast 2 since these games are yet to get a release date. Other installments, like Wreckreation, Space for Sale, and Trine 5, will seemingly also get their own segments during the livestream.

If you want to watch the showcase yourself, you’ll be able to do so through their official YouTube and Twitch channels. It will start airing at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM GMT, but there will be a pre-game show leading up to it that’ll be hosted by HandyGames which should give spectators a preview of the upcoming lineup.

During the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase in 2022, the developers had revealed during the end of the live stream that there were still 25 unannounced games so most of these will almost certainly be made public throughout the event. Whatever these may be, though, it’s safe to say that fans are as excited as ever to learn more about THQ Nordic’s plans now and in the future.
