Sons of the Forest will only be released on PC – more specifically on Steam – for now. Since the game is still in its early access period, it most likely won’t be launched on other systems until the developers are confident of doing so.

Endnight Games has already stated in a blog post that they plan on adding even more features to the game throughout its pre-release phase. This includes new weapons, items, and mechanics, which may mean that it won’t be available on other platforms any time soon.
Luckily, those who decide to purchase it on Valve’s platform during early access won’t be charged anything extra upon the game’s full release. The developers specifically confirmed this fact through their game’s Steam page.
Nevertheless, we should get more information about the developers plans to release it on other consoles the closer we get to its actual launch date. Keep in mind, though, that this is still merely speculation at the time of writing since Endnight Games themselves are yet to address their actual future release plans.
