Japanese studio PlatinumGames has announced it’ll be hosting a ‘Very Sorry’ stream tonight on upcoming shoot-em-up, Sol Cresta.

The interestingly-named stream was announced on the developer’s official blog. While it’s keeping the contents vague, the description claims there’ll be information about the game during the broadcast. “Everyone interested in Sol Cresta and looking forward to its release should be sure to tune in.”

While it’d be easy from the title to assume it may be some kind of delay announcement, the Sol Cresta Very Sorry stream is scheduled for a full hour. So it certainly feels like there’ll be more to it than that. We’re also told that the broadcast will feature producer Takahito Washisaka, director Takanori Sato and, of course, chief game designer Hideki Kamiya himself.

What will the infamous director behind Resident Evil 2, Viewtiful Joe and Bayonetta have to say? Will he be apologising for blocking folks on social media? (We hope not). The broadcast takes place at 8pm PST, which is 3am UK time. So perhaps a little bit of a late one for us Brits. But if you’re a night owl you can check the embedded player for the Sol Cresta stream below to watch it for yourself.

Sol Cresta was formally announced for real this past April. Back in September, it was expected to land on December 9 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. We’ll have to wait until the broadcast tonight to find out if that still holds true.
