Sky Go will no longer be available on consoles as of July 29, being replaced by Sky Go Extra which will cost users an extra £5 per month if they wish to use the service.

Sky Go has been available across many devices, among which is the Xbox 360, but now users will have to subscribe to the Premium Sky Go Extra in order to continue the privilege come the end of July.

Sky Go Extra allows users to download shows to watch on the go, and can be attached to up to four different devices.

Sky Go is planned for launch on PS3 and PS4 later this year.
