Ahead of the Silent Hill Transmission event that is set to take place following Sony’s State of Play event, Konami jumped the gun by revealing a new trailer for Silent Hill 2 Remake. The remake of the classic 2001 game is being developed by Bloober Team, the developers behind The Medium It served as a launch title for the Xbox Series X to showcase the power of the next-gen systems by rendering two worlds simultaneously to allow for instant switching between them.

The new trailer gave us a look at the gameplay, as well as some of the enemies and story elements, that look to be very similar to the original game. But, the news we have all been waiting for is the release date.

It has been confirmed that Silent Hill 2 Remake will be released on October 8th, 2024. Check out the latest trailer below.
