The Xbox Games Showcase gave us another look at the upcoming Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 – our first major look at the game since the gameplay demo two years ago.
We rejoined Senua in a mysterious and grim looking cave – but looking incredible impressive in its grim creepiness. Even more impressive is that we were told these weren’t just fancy visuals for a trailer – it was running on Xbox Series X. We didn’t get too much more in terms of gameplay, but some intriguing story points were teased – possibly even implying Senua might find some answers to the questions she’s been seeking since the first game.
The video ended by finally giving a release window for the game. While it might not a specific date, fans who’ve been wondering when we can actually play the game can now look forward to it dropping at some point in 2024. Hopefully, there’ll be more soon.
