Constant rumors teasing future Fortnite collaborations have become part and parcel of the Epic Games shooter’s ecosystem, and the latest reports, if they’re to be believed, are a doozy. According to the latest claims from a Fortnite insider, some of the game’s future collaborations will allegedly see Devil May Cry protagonist Dante and marine-turned-towering-blue-humanoid Jake Sully from the Avatar film series make their way to the battle royale.

Of course, unlike the arrival of the Gold and Fancy Peter Griffin in Fortnite, the game’s developers have yet to confirm these crossovers. However, the person responsible for revealing these alleged collaborations, Nick “Shpeshal Nick” Baker, had previously leaked the now-confirmed Doom and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover, so it may only be a matter of time until Epic Games confirms it. Until then, we recommend taking this information with a grain of salt, like always.

In addition, Dante’s introduction to the already large stable of Fortnite characters was seemingly teased through a weapon decal allegedly depicting the demon slayer’s iconic outfit. However, some players have pointed out that the insignia in question isn’t an allusion to Dante and is instead the “Hope Spray from Rebel’s Roost.”

Now, even though the majority would undoubtedly welcome both characters’ potential appearances in Fortnite, some couldn’t help but express their disappointment since the alleged Avatar collaboration isn’t the crossover fans were waiting for. Instead, some users on X (formerly Twitter) revealed that they would have preferred a crossover with Nickelodeon’s The Last Airbender as opposed to the widely praised James Cameron film series.

Unfortunately, a crossover with The Last Airbender seems unlikely as of writing, as neither Epic Games nor Nickelodeon have yet to announce, let alone tease, a partnership.
