Atari has announced RollerCoaster Tycoon World, the next installment in the popular theme park-building series due for release on PC in 2015.

Developed by Pipeworks Software (and reported by IGN), RollerCoaster Tycoon World will let players customise their park with rides, shops, patrons and roller coasters while keeping customers happy by keeping their park tidy and in full working order.

The new game will also introduce a co-op mode, the site states, allowing up to four players to team up to collaborate on a single theme park. You can share blueprints of rollercoasters online, too, and visit other players’ parks.

Atari promises there won’t be micro-transactions either, following controversy surrounding mobile title RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 earlier in the year.

“Many of the new features in RollerCoaster Tycoon World were not possible a few years ago, but we have taken advantage of technological improvements to offer a wildly fun gaming experience that stays true to the storied franchise,” said Atari CEO Fred Chesnais.

The first trailer for the game can be seen above.
