Oculus has released a pair of Field Training videos to mark tomorrow’s launch of Resident Evil 4 VR for the Oculus Quest 2.

To catch you up, the classic 2005 survival horror game’s VR makeover was announced back in April. Capcom have entrusted their game to VR developers Armature Studio. Far more than just a straight port, the team have made some major adjustments to fit the new system.

These changes to how the game plays are exactly what these videos focus on. While first person shooting is one thing, you’ll also have to reload each shell manually, rather than rely on a simple button press. Doing this while being chased by angry villagers or an even angrier Ogre will be an extra hurdle for you.

While the game’s famous inventory interface returns, you’ll also have the use of holsters. These will let you store some weapons on your person, giving you an extra option if you need to pull out a grenade or knife in a pinch. We can imagine it might get a bit stressful when you hear the unmistakable rev of a chainsaw though…

Check out both videos for yourself below. Resident Evil 4 VR is set to launch tomorrow, October 21 exclusively for the Oculus Quest 2.
