Capcom’s Resident Evil 4 Remake is almost here, and is set to take players on a trip back to Spain as they once again take on the role of Leon S. Kennedy in his quest to save Ashley Graham.

Now players are counting down the days before the release of the widely praised horror title’s remake, time is running out for players to avail of the exclusive content that comes with pre-ordering the game.

But before you go ahead and purchase it, you may want to know exactly what to expect. That’s where we come in. Here’s all you need to know before you press that buy button.

What are the pre-order bonuses for Resident Evil 4 Remake?

Those that decide to pre-order the RE4 Remake Deluxe Edition will be given a variety of in-game charms and items with special effects. This includes a Gold and Classic Attaché Case, a Handgun Ammo Charm, and a Green Herb Charm.

Unfortunately, it’s currently unclear what these accessories will provide once they’re equipped so you’ll just have to find out for yourself by pre-ordering either the Deluxe or Collector’s Edition.

The Deluxe Edition of the game comes with an Extra DLC Pack that includes an assortment of unique costumes and weapons for Leon. You’ll also be able to get a Treasure Map Expansion, a Sunglasses accessory, and a Soundtrack Swap option.

All of these will be available on both current and previous gen versions of the game, however, you will need to be connected to either the PlayStation Network or Xbox Live to get them.

However, PlayStation owners can also nab themselves an extra freebie. Exclusive to the PS Store – anyone who pre orders the game there will also get a Resident Evil 4 Mini Soundtrack to listen to – but only if you purchase before 00:59 BST on March 24, 2023.

If you want to get these exclusive in-game items, now would be the best time to pre-order it since there are only a few weeks left before the long-awaited title releases.
