Capcom has launched Resident Evil 2's nostalgia-powered '98 costumes for Leon and Claire in all their polygonal glory.

They do exactly what they say on the tin: make Leon and Claire look just like they did in the original PlayStation version of Resi 2, which is now 21-years-old. It's pretty amusing to see these retro-fueled models holding detailed weapons and flashlights, making for an intersting mash-up of visual styles.

Resident Evil 2 was released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in January, and I'm pretty positive I will be fighting its corner come December when we discuss our games of the year.

Be sure to check out the Ghost Survivors DLC too, as it's worth a shot after you've polished off the 4th Survivor and Tofu unlockables.

Fingers crossed we get a Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remake next, eh?
