Capcom has followed up yesterday's Resident Evil 2 screenshot blowout with a brand new gameplay video, showcasing Claire Redfield battling against the mutated monstrosity known as 'G.'
The boss fight appears to be a re-imagined version of Claire's 'B Scenario' encounter with G from the original version of Resi 2, which saw players duking it out with the pipe-wielding baddie in the sewers under the RPD.
It looks quite different here though, with G moving a lot quicker than his previous incarnation as he clobbers the younger Redfield sibling, who returns fire with a handgun sub-machine gun, and meaty grenade launcher.
Resident Evil 2 is scheduled to ship for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on January 25, 2019.
Capcom has made it clear that the game isn't just a prettier version of 1998's Resi 2; it's adding whole new areas, plus a brand new camera perspective in place of the classic fixed angles of the original game.
There's also going to be a swanky Collector's Edition of the game available, which includes a lush Leon figurine among other goodies.
