Capcom has exhumed details on the UK Resident Evil 2 Collector's Edition, and the good news is it's more or less the same as its US counterpart, right down to the awesome-looking Leon S. Kennedy figurine.

The statue of Resi 2's wet-behind-the-ears rookie cop stand at 12", and is joined by the same item box packaging as the US version, alongside a copy of Resident Evil 2 in a steelbook case.

In addition, UK gamers also receive four replica RPD keys based off the Club, Diamond, Heart, and Spade keys seen in Resi 2, a Made in Heaven pin badge, art book, CD soundtrack, RPD poster, and Deluxe DLC Pack Card.

If you're tempted by this (and I am; In fact, I've already pre-ordered the bloody thing), then be prepared to fork out £229.99 for the Collector's Edition at GAME).

The latter grants you access to a bunch of in-game bonus items, including the Original Soundtrack swap (you can play using the music from the original 1998 Resi 2), Samurai Edge 'Albert Model' firearm, Leon's Arklay Sheriff and Noir costumes and Claire's Military, Noir, and Elza Walker outfits.

Resident Evil 2 launches on January 25, 2019 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.

Capcom has said that its decision to utilise an over-the-shoulder viewpoint for the remake boils down to the fact the 'world has moved on' from static camera angles, although the game still remains speedrunner and knife run-friendly.

Resident Evil 2 was originally released on PlayStation twenty years ago, and was later ported to Dreamcast, PC, GameCube, and Nintendo 64.
