It’s the time of the month once again where Xbox reveal the next set of games coming to Xbox Game Pass for August including Psychonauts 2 and more.

We kick off with a trio of EA Play titles which will be playable via the Cloud from today. Need for Speed Heat, Star Wars Battlefront II and Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order can all be played on the go via mobile or web browser on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. They’re joined by grand strategy game Humankind, which is also available today via Xbox Game Pass for PC.

Later in the month, subscribers can look forward to Recompile on August 19. Described as a Metroidvania-inspired hacking adventure, this’ll be available on Cloud, Console and PC. On the same day, timeloop mystery Twelve Minutes also launches with the voices of James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley and Willem Dafoe. Finally, Train Sim World 2 promises a whole heap of simulation fun on Cloud, Console and PC on the same day.

A couple of big names drop the week after, as the long awaited Psychonauts 2 finally launches on August 25. The latest adventure from Tim Schafer’s Double Fine Productions sees Raz and company arrive on the service via Cloud, Console and PC. It’ll be followed on August 26 by a newly remastered version of legendary PC adventure Myst on Cloud, Console and PC.

Four games leave at the end of the month, with a couple of major names that you’ve got just under two weeks left to grab. Blair Witch, Double Kick Heroes, NBA 2K21 and Stranger Things 3: The Game will all depart on August 31. You can also enjoy touch support for a bunch of new titles when played on Android, including the excellent Hades.

As always, you can read up on the additional perks and more for Xbox Game Pass members for August over on the Xbox Wire.
