PS Plus has a fantastic April 2025 for fans. The Essential games include the excellent RoboCop Rogue City, and there is also Texas Chainsaw Massacre and the beloved Digimon. Soon Extra will also get a day-one GOTY contender early, along with another day-one release shortly after. While all of this is exciting, PS5 players are also encouraged to check their spam for free PS Plus.
Sony is finally giving PS5 players free PS Plus
A lot of PlayStation players are reporting that they are now receiving emails from Sony confirming five free days of PS Plus. The email reads as follows:
“We appreciate your patience during the recent PlayStation™Network outage. As a token of our appreciation, we’ve automatically extended your PlayStation®Plus membership by five days, no action is needed on your part”.
You should find an email confirming the five free days. This will be sent to the email address associated with your PSN account, and, if you can’t find it, make sure to check your spam/junk.
A lot of players received the five free days earlier in March, so Sony appear to be rolling out the compensation in batches. So, if you are still yet to receive five free days at all, you might just have to wait a little bit longer.
As for what to do with your five free days, we would definitely recommend playing RoboCop as it’s simply fantastic. We’d also recommend buying this great game for just £3.99 so you can get its upcoming Unreal Engine 5 remake completely free.
While the PS Plus news is great, don’t forget that The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is receiving a free download on PS5 full of new content.
