The PS Plus May 2025 free games have been revealed, and the upcoming selection is fairly decent. There’s the award winning and addictive Balatro, there’s the remake ARK Survival Ascended, and there’s also the thrilling Warhammer 40K Boltgun. While these games will become available for all PlayStation members soon, PS Plus subscribers will also be happy to know that a fun multiplayer game previously given away as part of Essential will still be playable online despite getting delisted from the PSN store.

PS Plus subscribers can still multiplayer game delisted from PSN store

Back in February 2023, Evil Dead The Game was part of the Essential giveaways that also included Olli Olli World, Mafia Definitive Edition, and Destiny 2 Beyond The Light.

Unfortunately, Evil Dead The Game has just recently been delisted from several store platforms including the PSN store. While this is disappointing for the game and means there will no longer be any support and new content, the good news is that Saber Interactive has confirmed the servers will remain online.

In a message shared on Steam, Saber Interactive said, “We can confirm we’ve begun the process of removing the game from digital storefronts. Anyone who has purchased the game will still be able to play it as we plan to keep our servers online for everyone”.

This is fantastic news as it means PS Plus subscribers who claimed the game during February 2023 can still play online should they choose to boot it up. There’s also single-player missions part of the game, and they’re definitely fun, too.

If you haven’t played Evil Dead The Game before, you should give it a go as it is enjoyable. You can play as the likes of Ash and other side characters from the movies and underrated Ash vs. Evil Dead television series, or you can play as the powerful Kandarian Demon. It’s gory fun with surprisingly a lot of layers, and it’s at least worth experiencing if you’re a fan of the movies, horror, or multiplayer games.

In other PS Plus news, the release date for the next day-one free game has been confirmed.
