It’s been a good month for PlayStation loyalists with the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 combined with the PlayStation Plus additions for October. Sony is yet to reveal what they’re adding to their subscription library next month, but we do know the release date for the PS Plus November 2023 free games. Not only that, but predictions suggest we may be getting an RPG.
October has been a busy month for gamers and November isn’t slowing anything down. There’s the early access release time for MW3 to anticipate, and there’s also the release date for Football Manager 2024. If you happen to own an Xbox too, then you have plenty of huge day-one releases to anticipate for Xbox Game Pass November 2023.
The upcoming Microsoft additions are already partly confirmed, meanwhile, Sony will tell all in the near future.
PS Plus November 2023 free games release date
The release date for the PS Plus November 2023 free games is November 7th. This is confirmed in the PlayStation Blog post revealing the October 2023 Essential freebies. The current giveaways, Callisto Protocol, Farming Simulator 22, and Weird West, end on November 6th with the next batch of freebies arriving the day after.
This is slightly later than usual as the release date means the November giveaways are arriving in the second week of the new month rather than the first. This is atypical, but you will have still plenty of time to grab the Essential offers before they expire. Sony hasn’t revealed the premature Christmas gifts as of writing, but the announcement is expected for November 1st.
While we don’t yet know what’s joining the subscription library next month, we do know the following games are set to leave both PS Plus Extra and Premium:
- My Time at Portia
- Ace of Seafood
- Giana Sister’s Twisted Dream Director’s Cut
- Wild Guns Reloaded
- Dandara
- Connectank
- Momodara Reverie Under the Moonlight
Predictions
PS Plus November 2023 predictions suggest we could be getting an RPG. As noted by kabirsingh84 on Reddit, November has typically been RPG month for PlayStation Plus. This is because since 2019 at least one RPG has been given away as an Essential freebie for November:
- Nioh – 2019
- Middle-Earth Shadow of War – 2020
- Kingdoms of Amular Re-Reckoning – 2021
- Nioh – 2022
Assuming Sony carries on the trend, we should be getting an RPG for November 2023. However, this hasn’t been confirmed as of writing, nor have there been any leaks. In addition, there is nothing to suggest what role-playing game we could possibly get. In the comments on the Reddit thread, some have speculated we could get Marvel’s Midnight Suns which launched in December 2022. This would be a fine addition as it’s a Marvel game massively underappreciated when you compare its critical response to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
