Microsoft has had a fantastic October finally securing the ownership of Activision and Blizzard. This should hopefully mean Call of Duty is bound for Microsoft’s subscription service in the future, albeit not immediately. While we may have to wait a while for CoD, there are still plenty of huge day-one releases to anticipate as part of the Xbox Game Pass November 2023 free games selection.
October has been a busy month for gamers and November will be just as hectic. There’s the early access release time for MW3 to anticipate, there’s the release date for Football Manager 2024, and there’s the continuation of the Phantom Thieves with Persona 5 Tactica. While Game Pass isn’t set to get Call of Duty until next year, the good news is that Football Manager and Persona 5 are both set to join Microsoft’s subscription library in the penultimate month before Christmas.

- Football Manager 2024 – Nov 6th
- Dungeons 4 – Nov 9th
- Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name – Nov 9th
- Coral Island 1.0 – Nov 17th
- Persona 5 Tactica – Nov 17th
These are the only additions announced as of writing. However, it’s more than likely that Microsoft will reveal even more freebies before next month arrives. Like A Dragon Gaiden is arguably the biggest name of the bunch, meanwhile, Persona 5 Tactica is an amazing inclusion for everyone who loves Atlus and their JRPG masterpieces. Both games are day-one releases.
Another day-one release is Football Manager 2024. This is a fantastic alternative to EA Sports FC 24 for armchair managers who believe they’re better than Jurgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola, and Sir Alex Ferguson combined. However, if you’re especially eager to become the next managerial legend, you can buy Football Manager 24 early access right now.
Although the Xbox Activision deal has finally closed, Modern Warfare 3 will not join Game Pass as a day-one release in November. Disappointing for sure, but CoD games will eventually come to Game Pass in the future along with other famous IPs owned by Activision and Blizzard.
