Although the full release is still a week away, fans can sample the Prince of Persia The Lost Crown demo soon. The Lost Crown is an entirely new installment in the legendary series from Ubisoft. The gameplay trailer shows that it is a side-scrolling platformer aching to Metroid Dead with typical time powers. It looks like a lot of fun, and it is a very welcome addition, seeing as the Prince of Persia The Sands of Time remake is still in the conception phase.
Not everyone is fully onboard with The Lost Crown’s direction, but the good news is that you can at least sample it before committing to a purchase. The demo is out tomorrow and it is available to download on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
Prince of Persia The Lost Crown demo launch date
The release date for the Prince of Persia The Lost Crown demo took place on January 11th. It is joining PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, and it will be available on Nintendo Switch, too. As for the full game, it isn’t set to arrive until January 18th.
But, in addition to the upcoming trial, you can also get early access to the full release. All you need to do is pre-order the Deluxe edition to begin playing from January 15th. Below are the price and pre-order bonuses for the Deluxe edition per the PSN store:

Aside from pre-ordering the Deluxe edition, you can also get early access on PC through simply being a Ubisoft+ subscriber.

The release time for when the Prince of Persia The Lost Crown demo will come out is 9 AM PT/ 12 PM ET/ 5 PM GMT on January 11th. These launch hours come courtesy of PlayStationSize on Twitter. They should apply to all platforms.

How to download the Prince of Persia The Lost Crown demo
You will be able to download the demo from the PSN or Microsoft store for PlayStation and Xbox once the release time passes. Same for the Nintendo Switch. All you will need to do is open the digital store on your PlayStation, Xbox, or Switch console, and search Prince of Persia The Lost Crown.
It is available on PS4 and PS5, Xbox One and Series X/S. Of course, the demo is free to download and play. Alas, no download size has been revealed as of writing, but the game’s full size is reportedly 25 GB with 4K and 120 FPS for Xbox performance. If you wish to download the demo on PC, you will have to install it from either the Ubisoft store or Epic Games. It and the full game are not coming to Steam.
