An in-depth preview for Prince of Persia The Lost Crown has now been provided at the June 2023 Ubisoft Forward show and it gave viewers a look at the Metroid Dread-like gameplay that you’ll be able to experience as well as the time-bending powers you can use throughout. Of course, this still isn’t The Sands of Time remake that everyone had been hoping for, but the ability to control time is still a nice touch and it at least gives fans something to hold them over until the reboot.
During its initial reveal at the June 2023 Summer Game Fest showcase, the release date had already been revealed and it is currently slated for January 18, 2024. It will also apparently be available on several different consoles such as the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PC, and, surprisingly, Amazon Luna.
