Shed Tail allows the Pokémon who uses it to create a substitute in their place. After that, the move then lines up the next Pokémon in your party, who’ll replace the decoy when they next take a hit.

Elsewhere, the trailer also shows off the new Terastallizing mechanic for the game. This was introduced in the previous trailer earlier this month. It allows Pokémon to change their type to get an advantage or nullify an opponent’s if they use the Tera Blast.

Finally, those who buy the game before February 28 will be able to claim a special bonus. The bonus will comprise of a special Pikachu, that won’t be able to be obtained through regular gameplay.

This extra sparkly Pikachu will be delivered via Mystery Gift, and will know Fly and have Flying Tera Type.
