A new video for Pokémon Legends: Arceus has been released, revealing the Hisuian forms of Zorua and Zoroak.

The footage was teased earlier this week, when the official Pokémon Twitter account dropped a preview of the video. It was a deliberately low-fi version of the video, complete with film grain and 90s VHS effects. They then challenged fans to examine the footage closely and report back with their findings

Now, a few days later, the account has posted the full thing. Shot from the POV of an unknown Pokémon researcher, they’re investigating a chilly mountainous region. Before long they come across some wild Snorunt feasting on the snow and ice. After climbing up to a higher vantage point, that’s when we get a look at the Hisuian Zorua, followed by the Hisuian Zoroark who seems to be protecting their younger sibling.

They’re the latest of the series’ menagerie revealed to be getting Hisuin variants in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Back in August, it was confirmed there’ll also be region-specific versions of Growlithe and Braviary. We also learned a couple of weeks ago that the game will have more of a Monster Hunter-like structure.

Are there more Hisuian forms in Pokémon Legends: Arceus to come? We’ll  find out when the game launches on January 28. 2022 for the Nintendo Switch.
