The PlayStation Blog has announced the next three games being added for subscribers to PlayStation Now for the month of May.
This month’s three additions are all live on the service from today, May 3. They begin with 3D anime brawler Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, which originally launched in 2016. Get stuck in with a revamped battle system, with story, online and versus modes all on offer here.
Joining it is another beat-em-up in the form of Bandai Namco’s Soulcalibur VI. It’s the seventh and most recent entry in the long-running weapon wielding series. You’ve got a roster of 21 fighters to pick from, including Geralt of The Witcher fame. Finally, we’ve got the game Blasphemous. Players can expect a “punishing action platformer” from The Game Kitchen and Team17.
Sony notes that is this likely the final PlayStation Now update in its current form. Of course, next month will see the introduction of the new-and-improved PlayStation Plus service. The new offering will essentially roll PlayStation Now into the service at higher tiers. However, the company is yet to confirm if all existing PS Now games will make the jump.
We do know that that the Extra tier will include “up to 400” PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 games. Meanwhile, the Premium tier will also add up to 340 classic games from the PS1, PS2 and PSP. While the details of which are yet to be revealed, internet sleuths have spotted updated listings for Tekken 2, Ridge Racers 2 and Mr Driller (and a couple of Worms titles) so far. The new service is set to arrive in Europe on June 22.
