PlayStation has started 2022 by revealing the latest games arriving on its PlayStation Now service for January from today.

The first game on the dock is the endlessly popular gory beat-em-up Mortal Kombat 11. The latest entry in the long-running series features plenty of characters, a bombastic story mode and, naturally, over the top fatalities. Here’s our review, if you missed it. Next up is Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, completing the run of classic Final Fantasy titles on the service.

Comic-book themed roguelike Fury Unleashed is next, offering up action platforming fun solo or with a friend. Find weapons, blast through enemies and upgrade your hero between runs and see how far you get. Then, there’s Unturned which gives you an open-world zombie sandbox with a load of zombies in it. Your job is to survive alone or with up to 24 friends on dedicated servers.

A couple of indie favourites round off this month’s additions. Super Time Force Ultra needs little introduction, but sees you team up with yourself thanks to time-twisting platform shooting action. Then you can get your grey matter working in Kerbal Space Program: Enhanced Edition as you try and send the titular Kerbals into the far reaches of space.

All four games are available through PlayStation Now from today, January 4 2022. You can read up more on the PlayStation Blog. Last month, it was rumoured that PlayStation may be looking to combine Plus and Now into a new service called PlayStation Spartacus in the near future.
