2K Sports has announced a new sporting superstar, Gareth Bale, is set to arrive in PGA Tour 2K23. One of Wales’ greatest ever athletes, Bale joins a growing list of superstars to be added to the game. A golf enthusiast, we can’t wait to use him out on the course.
The PGA Tour 2K23 release date feels like an age ago now. That hasn’t stopped 2K Sports adding to the game consistently though. The ever-growing roster is now even bigger, and is graced with yet another legend from the sporting world.

Gareth Bale joins PGA Tour 2K23 roster
That’s right, Gareth Bale is finally in PGA Tour 2K23. Wales, Golf, Madrid was the infamous saying towards the back end of his footballing career, and it is no surprise to see Bale added to the game. Bale has a replica of the 17th “Island Green” hole from TPC Sawgrass in his garden, so he definitely has the golfing bug.
His incredible footballing career has seen him win La Liga and Champions League titles. However, Bale is now a regular on the pro-am scene in golf and appears to be making up for lost time. Bale is the latest name to be added to the incredible PGA Tour 2K23 roster that already includes John Cena, Steph Curry, and Michael Jordan, and that’s not to mention golfing royalty such as Tiger Woods!

Take on The Elevens Club
If having Welsh wizard Gareth Bale as a player in the game wasn’t enough, you can also take on his dream course. Using the PGA Tour 2K23 Course Designer, Bale has created ‘The Elevens Club’. The course features Bale’s preferred characteristics, including big trees, undulating fairways and greens, and water hazards. There is also a scenic waterfall on the 11th hole.
The Elevens Club is a Par 71 course. The difficulty rating in PGA Tour 2K23 is rated ‘easiest’. From the White tees, the course measures 7,271 yards. The fairways are normal, greens are firm, green speed is fast (7.8). It is a handicap 72.0/130.
You can now play The Elevens Club as part of the latest free update to the game. There are also a series of challenges available by playing as Bale at The Elevens Club. These challenges will come with in-game rewards and will be available from 8am PT / 4pm BST on September 13, and will end at 12am PT / 8am BST on September 25.
