PGA Tour 2K23: Course Designer

The course designer in PGA Tour 2K21 had 288,00 courses designed by the community, and it looks like the mode will be just as popular in PGA Tour 2K23. If you did make a course in the previous iteration of the game, then don’t worry you can bring them along with you.

They won’t be published straight away though, you will have the chance to go in and make some changes and well needed updates with the new content in the game. Fortunately for players this mode is more user friendly now, according to the developers, this way it should entice new players into the course designer.

This means making sure there are less things on a screen at a time and other quality of life improvements, as well as a detailed tutorial to ease players in.

One of the biggest additions to PGA Tour 2K23’s Course Designer, is the focus on new flora. There has been a large focus on foliage, trees and nature in general for the new game, whilst there is scope for more content to potentially release in the future.

There will be updated:

  1. Terrain
  2. Hazards
  3. Flora + fauna
  4. Buildings and objects
  5. Tees + pins
  6. Crowds
  7. Surface settings
  8. Lighting and more

What Platforms is the Course Designer on?

The course designer is available on all platforms that the game is available on. These include:

  • PC
  • PlayStation 4
  • Xbox One
  • PS5
  • Xbox X /S
