Hideo Kojima’s next mind-bending horror creation, called OD, has now been announced by the beloved community figure himself at The Game Awards 2023. In addition to the Metal Gear Solid mastermind appearing at the event, he was also surprisingly accompanied by the brilliant Jordan Peele, an award-winning director known for creating several equally spine-chilling thriller projects, including Nope, Get Out, and Us.

It’s currently unclear when the dynamic duo of Kojima and Peele plan on releasing OD. However, since it was only recently announced and no news regarding this upcoming joint project had been revealed beforehand, it may be a long time before fans experience its unsettling and exhilarating story. Fortunately, Peele did let slip towards the latter portion of their segment that “it is unlike any other game” and that “it is going to be crazy,” so the long wait may just be worth it.

If you want to see the puzzlingly gripping announcement for yourself, you can check out the short reveal trailer for OD below.

This is a developing story, and more information will follow soon.
