Publisher XSEED Games has announced that it’ll be bringing No More Heroes 3 to Xbox, PlayStation and PC later this year.

The third entry in the action adventure series arrived on the Nintendo Switch back in August of last year. However, it’ll now be coming to the rest of the consoles and PC complete with some improvements. These include HD visuals, higher framerates and faster loading times afforded by the more-powerful consoles.

If you’re not up to speed, No More Heroes 3 sees the return of long-time protagonist Travis Touchdown. He’s been forced out of retirement once more, this time by an intergalactic force of aliens. Naturally, this is the setup for a fast-paced action adventure as Travis battles the evil Prince FU and his nine henchmen. It’s all in the name of becoming number one on the Galactic Superhero Rankings.

Josh reviewed the game on its Switch release last summer. He said “No More Heroes III should be played, if for no other reason than it could have been made by nobody else. If you are undecided on the matter, take the leap. It’s hardly serious s***, but I urge you to say screw it.”

It should be noted that, officially, the announcement only mentions an American release. However, we’d be very surprised if it didn’t make its way over here as well. Hopefully we’ll find out for sure in due course. For now, assume No More Heroes 3 will arrive on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC this ‘Fall’.
