The weekly Japanese sales chart from August 18 to August 24 is out. Media Create reports that J-League Winning Eleven 2008 tops the chart, selling 79,000 copies in its first week. Other new entries this week include Inazuma Eleven on Nintendo DS at No.3, Harukanaru Toki no Naka de on Nintendo DS at No.7 and Sigma Harmonics on Nintendo DS at No.8.
Eight of the top 10 games are on Nintendo platforms, with SEGA’s Phantasy Star Portable on the PSP (No.5) and J-League Winning Eleven 2008 flying the flag for other platforms.
Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii continue to sell well, with sales to date now at 2,546,000 and 1,711,000 respectively.
