Game Pass will not carry NHL 23 upon its release. NHL 23 will come to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on October 14th at 12AM ET. However, there will not be a PC edition again this year.
Xbox added NHL 22 to the Game Pass library on May 12th, 2022, well after its launch on October 12th, 2021. So it would be reasonable to expect a similar timeline for NHL 23 to be added to the Xbox Game Pass library of games.
If you can’t wait until May – NHL 23 will cost $59.99 on the Xbox One and $69.99 on the XBOX Series X|S. Whereas the X-Factor Edition will cost $99.99 on both the Xbox One and Series X|S.
NHL 23: X-Factor Edition
The X-Factor Edition will come with a number of exciting upgrades. And if you plan on upgrading your console from the Xbox One to Series X|S, it could actually save you some money.
The X-Factor Edition will come with dual entitlement. So should you decide to upgrade your console, you’ll be covered with a copy of the game on both consoles. You’ll also get access to the game 3 days earlier than the Standard Edition.Â
The X-Factor Edition will also come with 4,600 NHL Points, a HUT X-Factor player choice pack, and an X-Factor power-up starter pack.
Should you want to hold out on purchasing your copy of EA Sports’ latest hockey game, you can enjoy NHL 22 in the meantime instead, which is included on Game Pass right now. Also on Game Pass, is NHL 94, an all-time classic. If you haven’t yet played NHL 94 it is an absolute must play. A nostalgic masterpiece of all long-time NHL gamers.
