F1′ 22 Patch 1.08 Notes

As stated above, the patch is looked to target the offline community by reducing AI difficulty, it’s assumed that users may of felt a little underpowered when facing the AI in certain situations!

From the official press statement from EA‘s website, this is what was said:

Patch 1.08 is available now for F1® 22 on all platforms. Check out what’s in this patch below:

  • Rebalancing of AI performance in Career

Please note that this update will apply to all current and existing saves.

After this patch, please anticipate an average decrease in Career difficulty by five. You may need to alter your save game settings for the best experience.

However what wasn’t told in this press released was exactly what was being changed.

From community feedback through career mode, it’s expected that AI’s straight line will be slightly reduced, especially in the corners.

This was directly pulled from the community forum to which the developers at Codemaster and EA listen to what the community have complained about with the game, good on them!

There are current issues being investigated however as of right now, Patch 1.08 is the latest update to release which has only focused on one mode: Career.
