Leaks and teasers surrounding the upcoming Valorant agent have popped up in recent days, and this time, the latest vague snippet from Riot Games showcases the new character’s potential game-changing abilities. Now, since Vyse is reportedly gearing up to join the ranks of the Sentinels, her kit should allow you to defend or hold sites by yourself on defense while allowing you to disrupt lurkers and aggressive space-takers on offense.
Based on the clip Riot shared via the official Valorant X (formerly Twitter) account, one of Vyse’s abilities will seemingly allow her to disable enemy weapons, potentially giving her a huge advantage when anchoring sites alone or in clutch situations. She’ll also apparently have a time-controlling skill that may allow her to either slow or even stop the match timer, which, if it ends up working like that, would be useful for post-plant situations or late executes into a site.
Like another Sentinel in Deadlock, she may also have a skill that slows or hinders the enemy team, which can delay pushes to give your team more time to rotate. Unfortunately, her ultimate ability remains unclear since the snippet only gave a glimpse into her base kit. Of course, you’ll need to keep in mind that since the devs haven’t officially confirmed how Vyse’s skills work, these could all end up being different once she arrives.
However, you probably won’t have to wait long to find out since Riot’s official teasers have already begun arriving in droves, and her arrival could follow soon.
