Rage 2 has received a head-banging new trailer today courtesy of Avalanche Studios and id Software, offering a glimpse at the various blood-splattering weapons you can get your grubby paws on in the upcoming shooter.
It’s all about becoming a Wasteland Superhero, as the trailer says. To be honest, if you haven’t seen Rage 2 in action yet and need a good idea of what it’s all about, then this footage does the job rather nicely. It’s absolutely bonkers stuff, but that’s Rage for you.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world, your job in Rage 2 as a ranger Walker is to wage war against General Cross and his army of mutated bad guys. Fortunately, this basically means going mental with an array of cool-looking weapons, blowing s*** up, and having a bloody good laugh doing it. Being a Wasteland Superhero is a fun job, eh?
Rage 2 is unleashed on May 14 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
