Sony has revealed much of the new PlayStation Plus, including some of the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 lineups.

Ghost Of Tsushima Director’s Cut, on PS4 and PS5; Death Stranding and Death Stranding Director’s Cut, on PS4 and PS5; Demon’s Souls on PS5; Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PS4 and PS5; and Returnal on PS5. These are some of the highlights that will be available to people as part of the Xbox Game Pass-style middle tier.

There are also some third-party big hitters, such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, NBA 2K22, Red Dead Redemption 2, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and Control: Ultimate Edition.

To check out the full list, read the entry on the official PlayStation Blog. “We are pleased to share with you an early look at some of the games that will be included during the launch time frame,” the post reads. Plus, later on, Sony says that new games will be added regularly.

The new service feels like a cross between Nintendo’s subscription service and Xbox Game Pass. The classic games have custom save and rewind functionality, like the NES and SNES classic. Plus, they also feature increased frame rates and resolutions in some cases.

Sony has said that it doesn’t plan on releasing new first-party exclusives on the service on day one. But the big exclusive games that are here—on both PS4 and PS5—certainly add a lot of value to the new PlayStation Plus. The newest game on there is Returnal, which came out in April 2021. If new first-party exclusives take around a year to make their way onto the service, that’s still a pretty big boon.
