Dead By Daylight fans have been treated to a fantastic year so far, and it is only set to get better. As revealed in the year 9 roadmap, there are plenty of new chapters to anticipate for the remainder of this year, including licensed collaborations. We are set to get a licensed survivor next month, and the new DBD survivor for July 2024 has seemingly leaked online.
Before next month comes about, there is the DBD Twisted Masquerade 2024 event to enjoy with a bunch of new masks to unlock for killers and survivors. Right now we are in the middle of Chapter 32, which is a collaboration with Dungeons and Dragons, and this year we are officially getting a crossover with CastleVania.
While a crossover with CastleVania is exciting, we are first set to get a paragraph chapter in July 2024. This is a paragraph introducing a new survivor only, and a leak appears to have uncovered the licensed heroine.
Lara Croft survivor leaked for Dead By Daylight in July 2024
During this year’s anniversary livestream, BeHaviour Interactive revealed the Dead By Daylight year 9 roadmap. This roadmap confirms that a paragraph chapter is coming in July 2024 to introduce a licensed DBD survivor, and a leak suggests that this survivor is Lara Croft from Tomb Raider.
This comes courtesy of prominent DBD leaker, Gumpy. As screenshotted on the LeaksDBD subreddit, Gumpy responded to a comment speculating Tomb Raider for next month. In this response, Gumpy simply said, “I would also have to guess Miss L.C,” meaning Lara Croft.
It’s not confirmed that we are getting a crossover with Tomb Raider next month, but Gumpy has accurately leaked chapters and collaborations in the past, including the Alan Wake paragraph at the beginning of this year.
Under the assumption that we are getting Tomb Raider, it will be interesting to see which portrayal of Lara Croft is included. Survivor trilogy Lara seems the most likely, but we could get unification Lara similar to her more recent appearances in Call of Duty as well as Magic The Gathering.
