LMA Manager 2006 from Codemasters is set for release in October on PS2 and Xbox and is having a bit of an overhaul. The game will feature an all new graphics engine, for ultra realistic match action, improving on the game’s pioneering 3D match graphics. The latest in the series will feature all new motion captured animations and full facial animations, bringing the players to life.

For the first time in the series managers will have to weigh up the pros and cons of risking your star midfielder who has a niggling injury. Playing him could win you the game or put him out for a prolonged period of the season, damaging your team’s chances.

With the new Manager Editor you will be able to recreate yourself in the game, taking charge in the dugout, with an improved tactics system at your disposal and more variety in dugout shouts. If you want to try out new tactics away from the high risk big matches, you can, thanks to the new 3D training matches.

Expect a review of the game in the weeks coming up to the game’s release this October, but for now why not check out some new screens.
