NBA 2K23 has been out for nearly four weeks. However, a variety of important questions have not been fully clarified and there is one in particular: Will NBA 2K23 be on Xbox Game Pass?
Xbox Game Pass has been a clutch way for players to get access on a vast selection of different games for free or at a discounted price. A lot of Xbox players have gravitated to the subscription-based feature, transforming into quite the hit as it continues to build on its collection.
However, Game Pass has been a little inconsistent with which new AAA titles they introduce upon release, particularly for sports games. Take Madden 23 for example; it was released on August 19th yet is still not available on Game Pass. So what does this mean for NBA 2K, you might be wondering?

Is NBA 2K23 On Xbox Game Pass?
As of right now, the answer is no. In fact, there’s no NBA games on Game Pass aside from EA Sports’ NBA Live 19. Although the game has been out for nearly a month now, NBA 2K has made no announcements regarding whether they will actually add their latest edition to Game Pass.
That said, just because we have yet to receive any news on the matter, doesn’t mean that the game will not be on Game Pass moving forward. Newer games can take time to make it on Game Pass, and as we saw with Madden, that could very well be the case for NBA 2K as well.
