Is NBA 2K23 Next-Gen Available On PC?

Following the arrivals of both the PS5 and Xbox Series X, sports franchises have gone the extra mile with what they’ve chosen to include into the next-gen editions of the game. And in NBA 2K23, 2K really highlighted the stark differences between the types of experiences you can enjoy depending on which console generation you own.

Whether it’s the game modes or the new features, the next-gen version of NBA 2K23 is special and has easily made this game as big of a hit as it has been. It’s not that the game is bad on current-gen consoles. But the distinguishable differences with the level of immersive play and features available in next-gen version the of the game, is significantly better than what is offered on current-gen.

Because these next-gen editions have become increasingly popular, it has often posed the question whether PC players will have the opportunity to enjoy the unique luxuries available on PS5 and Xbox Series X?

NBA 2K23: Next-gen on PC?

Unfortunately, NBA 2K23 next-gen play is not available on PC. The only two console generations that permit next-gen play, are the PS5 and the Xbox Series X. This is mainly due to the reality that the PS5 and Xbox Series X provide the speed and technology for the game to function at its best.

That said, NBA 2K23 did state that next-gen play on PC is something they are actively looking into and do plan on providing the PC community with in the future. But for now, PC players only have the current-gen version of the game to play on.
