During its Nacon Connect presentation, the publisher showed off a new game set in the universe of The Terminator. It doesnât have a name yet, but it is, apparently, a survival game.
Nacon Studio Milan is making the gameâa developer who previously made Rims Racing. Check out the trailer below:
The description reads:
âJust a tease for the future, but if you couldnât tell, weâre big fans of 80âs movies, and our team at Nacon Studio Milan is working on the first survival game set in the Terminator universe. We canât say much more for now, but this is definitely something to keep your eyes on. Coming to PC & Consoles in the distant future.â
Now, from that blurb, itâs tough to tell whether âthe distant futureâ is only a reference to the films, or if it actually is accurate when describing when this game will be out.
Nacon Studio Milanâs website gives us a little more:
âAs revealed during Nacon Connect, weâre thrilled to announce that our next big project will be set in the world of Terminator, one of the worldâs most popular and iconic film franchises.
âThe game takes place in a post-apocalyptic open world and features an original story that builds on the events of the films. You play as a group of nuclear apocalypse survivors fighting to stay alive in a time period between Judgment Day and the creation of John Connorâs resistance.â
So there you have it. The last Terminator game we got was Terminator: Resistance (which got a PlayStation 5 upgrade earlier this year). In other Nacon news, the company also revealed some gameplay of its upcoming RoboCop: Rogue City. That game, we now know, will star Peter Weller in the role of its hero.
